Re: Unsecure website...here?
I think running HTTPS should be considered. It will make the site more secure and allow me to access the site from my work environment

r12s de-cat choice
Hi guys, I have 100% std r12s 25k miles. I have a used straight through Remus head system in the post to me and a standard header system with the cat removed. I also have a rapid bike easy dongle ready to install. I want a bit more noise so that I can hear downshifts and any extra torque that might ...

Re: I hope I like my r1200s
Yes, I really like the bike. I changed the brake fluid last weekend as it was the colour of weak coffee. All went well, then I read the Haynes cartoon book that insists, only dealers should perform this as it is an ABS model. Hey ho. Also popped some new (SBS SP) pads in. Brakes are better now, more...

Re: MoT QUERY-ish
Old thread I know but I could not resist providing evidence that demonstrates that the ABBA stand can list the rear wheel

Re: r12s 190/55 too big for you ilmburger hugger? Do this
Yes standard tyre size is 190/50, but I wanted 190/55 which should give me slightly better turn in.
Thanks
Thanks

r12s 190/55 too big for you ilmburger hugger? Do this
After fitting a dunlop roadsmart IV 190/55 I realised that my ilmburger hugger was now unusable ! After research I realised that I needed an HP2 sport hugger for this tyre size. Boo. I decided to make a bracket to move the hugger upwards and slightly backwards. I spent an hour measuring and visualis...

Re: I hope I like my r1200s
New Dunlops fitted. Thanks for the tyre advice but I feel most comfortable on Dunlops. I have bought far too many 211s, 212s and TTs overs the years. I selected Roadsmart IVs for the r12s. HOWEVER, the rear 190/55 does not work with the ilmburger carbon hugger. Having now researched the issue on her...

Re: I hope I like my r1200s
Well I did like the ride. Stand outs for me are, Such a roomy and comfortable riding position. Probably the most accurate chassis that I have ridden. You can pick out long fast lines from way back and not be disrupted by road bumps. Ohlins suspension seems to be in good condition so far. Clutch and ...

I hope I like my r1200s
Hi everybody, i have been viewing the forum for a couple weeks but now I can contribute.....questions ;) 2 week ago i bought my r1200s on a whim. Up to now I have always had Japanese or Triumph motorcycles, a leaning towards sports. I still have a couple of track bikes and completed 98 blade project...
