What performance gains have you had with just Y piece?

Gave mine a good run today, pickup is a lot more urgent around 3750rpm upwards.
Feels like a new bike

The bevel casing was changed 1k miles ago due to paint warranty.
The dealer said they put a hole new assembly on rather than strip and replace my old one.
I am assuming the new drive is wearing in generating more heat, I will check the oil this weekend.

Has anybody noticed the temperature that their rear bevel box casing reaches.
I touched the casing after a 20mile 60-80mph run (private roads ) and i could hardly keep my hand on it. Probably about 50-60 Deg C - ambient 27 Deg C

I noticed mine had crazed after the bike was 12 months old, At last service I told the service guy who said it has been seen before.
They are changing mine under warranty in Dec before warranty ends.

I have had both front discs replaced under warranty over a period of 18 months.

After washing the disks would corrode and pit at the calliper position within approx 3 days if stood during the winter months, even after drying.
