I've now sold the vfr (big mistake ) and bought the guzzi.
OK but I'm not gelling with it :|

Well I'm still on a motoguzzi sports but I think I shall be back looking for an 1100s over this winter. :bounce:

They are brilliant bikes, very cheap to buy for what you get. .....
here's mine.
I keep looking for an 1100s to replace it with, but want a nice one with the above bar handle bar conversion :bounce:

Well now I've ridden an 1100s with an above the yokes bar conversion
much better for me :drunken:
I didn't buy it as its a mates bike (not for sale)
I may reconsider my choice now :D

AFTER CONSIDERING THE OPTIONS I'VE ABANDONED MY SEARCH FOR A 1100S

Happy new year all.
Looks like I'm going to buy a cheap trails bike, another cheap go to the shop classic moped
and move the viffer on.
I still haven't ridden an 1100s with the above the yoke conversion, but am off to see one tomorrow
that should make my mind up :bounce:

Having been through the same dilemma a few years ago, as you are now, I would recommend you keep the VFR and all your gear.
I had classic cars at one time (2 x Daimler Darts, Jensen Interceptor and an S1 Bentley).
I spent thousands on them and drove them a lot, but after a few years realised ...

At 61yrs I suffer enough pain from back / knee / joint problems :wink:

I may just give in now and sell the vfr off and forget bikes. 43yrs riding now :cry:
