It’s all good advice thanks to all who have commented I just want to avoid BMW dealer costs and am seeking a recommended independent who can help now I need a mechanic in the south now to have a look

Wow just an hour but it will be the whole shaft as you say was looking to do a few more things when i start so I think a little more time will be required

Whilst enjoying a spirited ride I have broken the bike it starts runs but has no drive. It moves forwards and backwards when in gear so I suspect the shaft or uj is broken.

I am not competent enough to fix and looking for a mechanic in the south near Newbury Berks...Any advice?

So i am having the bike painted and the minor spattering jobs are OK. I can follow a workshop manual but i want a little help to replace swinging arm bearings and installing a suter slipper clutch.
