http://www.boosterplug.com/shop/boosterplug-bmw-r1100s-186p.html Yes it has a sensor (brass tip in the image) that you position near the air intake and simply plug into the existing air sensor plugs on the bike at the side of the air filter assembly. You do not have to make any other adjustments and...

Hi Henners Sorry but I've been off the site since I sold my R11s and spending too much time on the UKGSER site. If your still interested it's a booster plug direct from Boosterplug in Denmark. It's very easy to fit and I found it to much smoother especially at low speeds, but I didn't use the bike f...

1100S Booster Plug
Decided to get me a GS instead of lowering pegs and raising bars (expensive solution), so the 1100S has gone. If anyone is interested I now have a redundant Booster Plug I fitted TO THE 11S but only did 200 miles using it before selling the bike. Selling for £55 free postage to UK.

I already have a Shackleton high chair for the wife in the sidecar on my flying brick. Al....thanks for your suggestions you have confirmed my line of thinking. I bought some bar riser adapters from Suburban Machinery (which were a lot of money for a couple of small aluminium blocks), but I wasn't s...

Tired old legs
I'm sure this will have been asked before but I can't find a link. My old knees can't take being cramped up for longer than an hour with the standard foot pegs on my R1100S. I need to lower them. Any recommendations?

I e-mailed Teut at http://www.twsuspensiontech.co.uk who confirmed that the OEM Showa shocks can be refurbished at a cost of £130 ea. plus extra £25 for any spring/body painting.
He also recommended Nitron NTR1 front and NTR2 rear for my road use as a good alternative to expensive Ohlins.

My 2002 R1100S rear shocker has started to weep oil at 30,000 miles so a repair or replacement is imminent. I have read on this topic that the OEM shocks are repairable, however my Clymer states that the only replacement parts available are mounting bolts and bushes. I have limited funds to spend on...
