The CBR definitely fills the slot. More in tune with what I want. Cheaper, faster, better riding position, lighter. It's not a flat twin with easy peasy lemon squeazy maintenance, thats the only negative.

I should have test rode for longer before I bought. That is why I got rid of it so fast. Great ...

If true please don't buy an R1100S. These bikes are not fast 100 MPH feels like an event.
The bike is at it's best at 70 to 80 MPH. After more than that?... buy a jap four or V twin :lol:

I have a center stand for an R1100S complete with all fixtures, even a new little rubber bung. The only things missing are the two sleeves that fit inside the frame that the bushes fit into. These are about £2 each.
