Loud noise from transmission

Hi, I have discovered a rather loud noise from the rear end of my R1100S ('99) when driving. The noise is present when the wheel is turning, regardless of whether the bike's in neutral or in gear - which leads me to believe the noise is coming from somewhere within the drivetrain. I feel confident, ...

They seem to be leaning inwards when mounted on the bike, I have set both the little adjustable plastic thingys on the lower case support (attached to the pillion foot rests) in t...

Thanks for all the answers. I will be looking into all your suggestions. I should probably say that it doesn't feel like I need to constantly apply pressure to the left handlebar when driving normally with both hands on the bars, it is only a problem when I want to rest my hands a bit, or pull up th...

R1100S pulling to the right

Hi guys! I have installed a ThrottleMeister pacekeeper on my R11S in order to be able to rest my arms and wrists on longer trips. Problem is that I can't let go of the handlebars. Not that I have to, but I can't let go of the fact that my bike doesn't run straight. Anyone experienced something like ...

Kind regards,

New member from Denmark

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Simon, I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. Married to Mia, no kids, lieutenant in the RDAF. I ride an R1100S from 1999, equipped with system cases, TomTom Rider GPS, SW Motech EVO tank bag, ThrottleMeister pacekeeper, MRA windscreen, other than that pretty much standa...
