Re: Wanted - 99 1100S rear shock.

Re: Replacing my Nav VI...

The Chigee certainly looks like an excellent replacement for the Nav unit.

It's about time BMW enabled more functionality on the excellent TFT, surely it could also do CarPlay/Android Auto if they wanted it to/paid the licence fee?

Re: new r1100s owner PhilipS64

I used to route an optimate lead to the area under the riders seat.

As you will find getting to the battery is a bit of a faff! Don't forget to remove the bolts under the BMW badge on the sides of the front fairing when removing it for access

Found it https://www.ktmforum.co.uk/threads/2011-rc8r-for-sale-orange-and-white.1397205/. Local too!

I'll keep repeating 'I do not need another RC8!'

Good luck with the sale and the retirement.

Re: ACF50

If you are spraying on (with a compressor and spray gun) then the smallest quantity you can buy, it goes a long way. This is by far the best way. If you are using an aerosol can then put the whole can in warm water first to both thin the ACF50 fluid and also pressurise the can a little. Not sure on ...
