Is it possible to get lost going up or around the Great Orme? I’m intrigued!

Re: BMW club ... oops :D

Oh I remember it well, Steve.
You were a very naughty boy and got me banned as well but I think they have relented in my case.
And although you were naughty I do forgive you!

Re: 1st trip of '24

Just returned from a week up the west coast staying on the shores of Loch Leven (North Ballachulish). Unfortunately only on four wheels! Seemed to be a lot more bikes up there than in previous years many German and Dutch registrations. If you have time take the road from Fort William to Malaig but b...

Re: Spin out to Ellesmere

Steve, went to school in Ellesmere (Ellesmere College). When we could we would sneak down to the cafe by the mere as the owner would supply us with beverages of the alcoholic variety. Happy days.

Re: Retirement.

TT, glad to hear you are ok now (and the two wheels). Just a couple of quick ?. What was the problem with Greenflag? Only ask because we’ve just changed over to them. And secondly how did you find the motolug worked out, been thinking about getting one for a few years now.
Cheers,
Bob

Re: The Wild Atlantic Way

Thanks for the hints & tips, Nigel, shall follow them up. Wasn't thinking of doing the whole route just part of it hence 5-7 days. Thought after Dublin we'd head west and then possibly do a loop south following the coast and ending in Cork. What do you think?

Re: The Wild Atlantic Way

Thanks Steve. Yes the NW coast of Scotland is the place to go but we fancied something a bit different next year having done most of the west coast and a lot of the east coast of Scotland over many years (just like you!) In fact we are off to Ballachulish in May and then Inverness in September so I ...

The Wild Atlantic Way

Hi, Has anyone done the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland (or parts of it). Thinking of next year and would appreciate some info on it, best parts, which way round (clockwise or anticlockwise) hotels, fuel stops, eatery stops, places not too miss etc etc. Probably looking at 5-7 day trip. Travelling from...

Re: THE CLASSIC ROCK SHOW - 2019 DATES

Seen this lot 4 times now, going again in January it just has to be one of the best 'bands' around at the moment. Their interpretation of Lynyrd Skynyrd's 'Freebird' is even better than the original (imho). For a cracking night out you will not be disappointed. Oh and it won't cost you an arm and a ...

Re: Hello from the north west

Steve re: Welsh w/e. Have you got a route sorted for the Saturday yet? Can't make the venue for stop overs but would like to meet up somewhere 'en route' and tag along if possible.

Ben no problems meeting up just send me a p.m. and we can sort out a meet point.
