Not been on here for ages, just thought I'd check in as see how all the regulars are doing?

I learned to drive a few years ago, and got myself a VW van to convert into a caper. Been keeping be busy, and not really in a good way!

Still got the old R100S, it started burring oil in the ...

Check out 4OD. There's four short films about Guy. Better than speed I think, especially when he explains how his trailer mounted Merlin engine.... er... "took off"... in his boss's workshop!

Really enjoyed speed last week, but next weeks looks very good.

Love the look of old BMW bikes. If I had £10k + sitting around, I'd happily own an R69.

Problem is, if it appeals to the traditional BMW rider, they'd buy one, and keep it for years and years....

I hadn't considered the pillion seat. Your right, it looks rubbish...

It's not a bike I'd own (even if I could afford it!), but it's good to see some big strides being made in the performance side of things.

I had a no fault bump from a guy who was with my insurance company. It got sorted super quick, but my renewal was higher after, even though I claimed from his insurance, not mine.

Me too. I think it's a shame, as it was key part to the BMW character for the last 15 years.

I've watched it a few times, thinking if it was me, would I have reacted sooner once I saw the car move into the filter lane? Would going slower have helped?

You can see the car move into the filter lane from a few seconds back, and I'd certinatly have slowed from 60/70 to 50 and kept an eye on ...
