2003 11S Twin Spark for sale £2150 Now sold!

Note final price reduction. I would love to sell to a genuine enthusiast, but if no one is interested this time around, then sadly I have a dealer lined up to buy it..... I am reluctantly selling my much loved 1100S following a cycling crash last year which has caused me ongoing wrist pain.... It is...

Re: R1200/1250RS

Thanks everyone for these replies. A lot of detail and effort. Disagree that 18l isn’t small for a bike designed for and capable of touring Europe. Also, because you want a break doesn’t mean you want to ‘enjoy’ it filling up with fuel yet again... To throw a cat amongst the pigeons, does anyone hav...

R1200/1250RS

Hi, just wondering if anyone owns either of the above bikes and if so, what are your honest thoughts, warts and all. I have read only god things, but struggling to get past the immensity of the ‘electronic aids’, the small tank and the high prices! How do or don’t they compare to the 11S? How is rea...

Re: Exhaust differences BCR

Interesting, could also be that. I fitted a new lambda sensor as well, so lots of changes at once!

Re: Exhaust differences BCR

Just an FYI to say that there are 2 part numbers each for the cat and Lambda sensor, but these are dependant on the date of manufacture of the bike and not whether it is twin or single spark ⚡️. MotoWorks very helpful with this and sell Lambda sensors for almost half the price charged by a certain B...

Re: Exhaust differences BCR

Thanks, Dave, but surely if the BCR has a Laser exhaust as standard, it would need a ‘freer’ cat than the other models?
Just want to be clear that there are only two types of exhaust and Lambda sensors, not an extra set purely for the BCR?

Exhaust differences BCR

Is there a difference between the cats on the BCR and the other ‘S’ machines? Also how many variations are there on O2 sensors? (For single spark, twin spark and BCR perhaps?). Please help - seems a bit of a minefield.....!

Re: R11S bar backs and lower pegs

Try the link. They do make a difference and allow the gear shift and rear brake levers to remain in their relative positions. You have to fit the longer rear brake hose (supplied) and obviously refill and bleed, but fairly straightforward. https://www.jumiparts.de/motorraeder-bmw/sport/r1100s/fussra...

Before selling, for what seems a good price, why not try moving the bars above the yoke to see if that helps?
Cheers,

Re: Anyone got a cat and pipe for sale? 2003 11S

I have both of these items, unused, as taken off prior to fitting other pipes at original point of sale. No idea of their value. Thanks am interested if you could find out postage cost and come up with how much you would want for them. I have the twin spark model 2003, I don’t know which one I need...
