Cheers mate, I know there a bugger too keep right, but after reading on here, I use acid based alloy wheel cleaner. I soak kitchen towel with it and wrap them around, remove then autosol!
But your right, they will go brown on the first ride!

I have a 30mm socket without the cut out which you are free to borrow.

If it is essential to have the cut out i can get it machined for you.
