When did you get back? It was good to meet up in Prague. Nice meal and how cheap!
Had a fantastic time riding back through the Frankenvald national park, beautiful sweeping bends and tall trees. A bit cooler too, it dropped below 30 in the evening.
Took the S for a spin round the Nurburgring on the ...

Twas a tad difficult to spot him amongst the 220,000, cant imagine why!

We travelled Harwich to Hoek then made our way to Bad Grund to a biker hotel run by an English couple in the ...

Fork yoke refinishing

My front fork yoke finish is almost non existant and needs refinishing. Any suggestions for paint type? Can it be done in situ?

Cheers,

Bike Safe video

Just viewed the new Bike Safe video from West Midlands Police. Very clear comparison of race line v road line. Lots of straightforward advice on riding position and countersteering. Not at all patronising. Worth a look definitely, unfortunately not mine, but I might buy a copy.

Maxton shocks front and rear have made more difference to my S than anything else I've changed. Having said that the originals were b*****d.

Hi Chris,

Looking forward to getting the battery when Lloyd is up this way. Like you say one less thing to check, damn good job too when you think about the convenient location of the thing.

How is Rover?

It's much smoother and less bumpy and therefore more comfortable to ride.
Power delivery is more linear, particularly under hard acceleration.
The ride is more composed both in straight lines and through bends ...
