If I have a (very) slight criticism of the Telferizer mount, it's that it can come loose. It could do with a couple of flats milling on to it so you could get a spanner on it to tighten it. Had considered putting a drop of lock tight on the threads, but was concerned that I then might not get it off...

Mine were done at Camcoat in Warrington using their Cermakrome product. http://i569.photobucket.com/albums/ss137/daveg2812/IMG_0494.jpg And on the bike, http://i569.photobucket.com/albums/ss137/daveg2812/bike.jpg Bike's not had a lot of use this year but the finish is still pretty much the same. Cos...

I'm glad I hadn't ridden a bike for 23 years before I bought my 11S a few years back. After all the negative stuff written about it, I'd have chucked it in a ditch after the first ride

There has been countless stuff on here about this subject and some recent stuff about people cleaning up and painting original bolts etc. A few of us asked how this affected the paint once these were tightened, but never got answers. Personally, I cleaned up my caliper bolts with a wire brush and a ...

Just a thought, but doesn't the stock 1150 engine make less power than the 1100, at least in GS form?

When I had a new front fitted last year to a loose wheel, picked it up from the guy who works from a unit at the back of his home. He was having his tea when I called, but still asked what pressure I ran, checked it and popped in a quick squirt of air before handing it over. It shouldn't be missed, ...

Dave, I thought you would have left it in "Moffat State" where everyone thought you just went into bends without braking  But seriously, where did you get it from and any chance of a pic? Bought it on here from a fellow Trixter Dave. Does look good though and is bright. I'll try and ...

That bike has been doing the rounds for many years and has been mentioned on here before when it's come up for sale. Would be interesting to have a ride to see what difference the changes have made.

You could try searching for a full replacement rear led lamp unit likethe one I have, which already has the resistor built in. More expensive, but the whole thing looks great and offers more light output. :D

Strange that. When I bought my 1100S 3 years ago after having not ridden a bike for around 23 years, I felt, once I got used to it, that it didn't turn in quickly enough. I've since changed the stock shocks for a pair of Wilbers, the rear having adjustable ride height amongst it's settings. The ride...

Nik, can't tell you whether you need to remove the bodywork or not, but it's not a big deal. The bolts under the fairing are the most difficult to get at, but it's a piece of cake, and when you done it once, it will hold no fears.
