On one of the ride outs with the simmer dim we ended up at a chaps house who in the grounds of his property had a massive sealed out building that housed so many classic bikes id hate to guess the value. As a side note im well into WSB. Toprak Razgatlioglu is such a naturally gifted rider the way he slides the bike into the fast bends is a joy to watch. BMW went all out to poach him from Yamaha and he`s not disappointed. Hope Jonny Rae can get the Yamaha to work, would be a shame for him to fade ...

Mick. the only thing your describing happened to me when i had the boxer cup, full battery been riding then click on the button. turned out it was the ground wire on the frame had got corrosion so stopped the contact. sorry ive no other solutions but hope you get fixed and enjoy the rest of the trip ...

It will make no difference if Khan gets back in (hope not) as of 2025 all vehicles including electric will have to pay so i would think any city with a charge would follow suit, especially Bristol.

Usually a bad earth gives you the symptons of a flat battery and just get a clicking from the starter button. Had this with the bcr but ran fine from a bump start but cleaning the earth to frame cured the clicking and all back to normal.
