K1200R

Just my opinion, I had a K1200R before I traded it in for my R1200S and I loved it.
Its got amazing power and the ESA electronic suspension adjustment is fantastic, not just a pointless gimic.
I only got rid of mine cause i fancied a change with the sport.

That sounds like a great run out, look forward to it.

Might be able to put some miles on my new gearbox!!, just 2600 miles 4 months old and the gearbox failed.

Nippy Hugger

Hi Duncan

I have just fitted the Nippy norman hugger to my (colgate) R1200S.

I did have to take the wheel off, this wasn't to bad to do.
I bought a tourqe wrench and some torx socket/splined drivers and went ahead and done it.
I had a wunderlich paddock stand and the job took about an hour.

I was up there on saturday (Colgate R1200S) but I was parked with a Z750.
Loved the Show, the stunt show was definately worth the queue, the trade stands seemed a better mix that the ones at the NEC.

And the ride through london is always worth it especialy when you see all the poor visitors stuck ...

R1200S Hampshire

Hi All

Ive had my 1200s for a few months now and I thought I'd say hello.

Its quite a change from my previous K1200R but I am getting to grips with the changes in power delivery, oh and its so much lighter :oops:
